do not use chemicals for processing.
Digital mammography is more sensitive and specific for the detection
of fine micro-calcifications and subtle soft tissue masses. This method of mammography
virtually eliminates film artifacts, thus sharply decreasing the need for repeat studies. Digital
mammography is vital for detecting early breast cancer. This technique emits a lower dose of
radiation and is much more comfortable for the patient as less compression is needed to get
